Florencia Cristobal Mandac peacefully passed on December 11, 2025 and shortly after her passing nine days later, Lucas Bartolomew Mandac peacefully passed and was reunited with her on December 20, 2025.

Florencia was born on May 23, 1929 to Lorenzo Cristobal and Primitiva Cristobal in Laoag City, Philippines. She is one of seven children.

Lucas was born on November 24 1928 to Nemesio Mandac and Leona Bartolome Mandac in Kauai, Hawaii. He is one of six children.

They married on June 13, 1949 and had nine children (6 girls and 3 boys). Lucas later came back to the United States in 1968 while he worked to support his family in Honolulu, Hawaii then later working at Kwajalein Marshall Islands a U.S. satellite installation. He would continue to travel back and visit every year in the Philippines until he decided to have all his family join him to live in San Francisco to be near his brother Bartolome. Florencia would follow and immigrate to the United States in 1976. He continued his job until he retired. They lived a beautiful and blessed life in San Francisco, CA.

Florencia and Lucas are survived by their nine children Josie (husband Jose), Leticia (husband Patrick), Annie (husband Jun), Rey (wife Tess), Marcie, Lolita (husband Mike), Imelda (husband Elmer), Rennie (wife Evelyn) and Roel; her sisters Andrea and Matilda (husband Jun), his nephew Virgil (son of Bartolome and Genara), their Grandchildren MaryJane, JR, Vanessa, Ryan Jason, Sheryl, Apple Kate, Rjay, Richard, Michelle, Kevin, Derick, Mark and Andrew, their Great Grandchildren Keila, TJ, Camron, Devin, Isaiah, Rylin, Baby Agdinaoay, Elliana, Gavin, Paityn, Emma, Jathan, Jayden, Dominic, Baby Morales and Kayden.

She is preceded in death by her sisters Erlinda and Flora and her brothers Rufo and Felix.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Bartolome, Bernardo (passed during World Warr II), Ricardo, Venancio and his sister Belinda (passed at early ages).

Florencia enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her kids and grandkids and gardening vegetables and roses. She was a soft spoken and loving person as well as a woman of faith.

Lucas enjoyed gardening and enjoyed collecting different shells and making picture frames out of it. He would spend all day planting different vegetables in the backyard and making sure the backyard was in immaculate condition, no weeds growing around his vegetables. He enjoyed going fishing & crabbing. He was very handy around the house and like to fix things. He enjoyed going to the casino occasionally. He was hard working and loving person, always smiling.

In their final years, they will be remembered for their strength and fight that they both displayed as they battled health issues.

They both will be deeply missed by our family, friends and to all of those who knew them.
